Another Saturday, another Urban sketch meet-up.

This time the venue was Mitcham's Corner. It is not far from where I live and is now a vibrant centre with lots of cafes. On the way to the meet-up I was considering all the places I could sketch - there are lots of oldish buildings there with pubs and cafes so I had a lot to choose from. After we met up we went on our separate ways, I went to the old shops towards the river and was delighted to see a newly opened café had placed a bench outside its premises which was perfect to sketch the wonderful University Cycles shop. I sat down and soon became engrossed in my drawing.

However, the double decker buses were forever stopping inches away from me and blocking my view and making the air quality rather poor.

But I carried on and the owner of the café came out and asked me if I could draw his café so I shall do that in the next few weeks.

After sketching the group met up for photos and we visited the recently opened 'Artyst' coffee bar. Oh, and I sold my sketch!
