This is one of my favourite fantasy tree paintings.

The tree is covered in an array of delicious fruit, ideal for a small garden.

It is just dusk and there is a full moon, the light makes the copper bark shimmer as you move and each delicate fruit is ripe and ready to eat.

A tree to wish for when you are tired and thirsty hence the title, the Tree of Longing.

There are some paintings I miss when sold, this is one of them. However, I sell prints and I add copper leaf to them so the glimmer is still there. I also hand make the cards which depicts a square detail of the painting.
